Diablo 4 was suppose to be announced at Blizzcon, but wasn’t

Updated: Nov 6, 2018

The heaviest of eye rolls

After all gamers revolted against the unnecessary mess that is to be Diablo: Immortal, Kotatu says developers were ready to announce the next addition to the franchise... but it got pulled at the last minute.

Insiders from the game say a teaser was suppose to pop up, announcing Diablo 4 was in development. Unfortunately, the powers that be weren’t ready for a commitment since the game had changed so much over recent years.

Diablo III was released back in 2012 and has since be distributed to every gaming platform available, had multiple updates, and now has spawned a spin-off mobile game that no one asked for. Personally, I think they should have taken their efforts from Immortal and funneled them into delivering 4.

Seeing how how it took 12 years for III to be made, it may still be a while before we face the Prime Evils again.
