First look at Henry Cavill as 'The Witcher'

Happy Halloween, indeed! Netflix blessed us with a surprise tease of their upcoming adaption of The Witcher.

In it you see Henry Cavill, rocking a silver wig and clad in leather, materialize out of the darkness and stare at the camera. The video ends with Cavill upending a bottle.

The Witcher is a popular fantasy book series written by Andrzej Sapkowski’s centers around Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter with supernatural powers. The novels have spawned a successful video game franchise - with latest addition, Wild Hunt, being praised for its gameplay and storyline.

Whether or not the show will live up to the gaming legacy, one thing is certainly clear: Henry Cavill can still get it... even in that Party City wig.

The Witcher is set to hunt down all your free time in 2019.
