‘Men In Black: International’ looks like an intergalactic snooze

Note to the film powers that be: if you’re going to continue to remake or reboot movies from my childhood, be sure to either improve on the source material or create something original.
Sony Pictures releases the first trailer for the the upcoming Men In Black: International and to be quite honest - it was boring.
We see Agent H (played by the FINE Chris Hemsworth) take on some alien threat with Liam Neeson - who narrates the trailer. We then see that Tessa Thompson has been searching for the secret agency for decades. After finding it, she suits up as Agent M and joins Hemsworth to deliver action sequences that are SPARSE on the aliens. Yeah, we get a cameo from the Worms - but nothing really excites me.
This, of course, is only the first trailer. And while I love Thompson and Hemsworth immensely (which is why I love Thor: Ragnarok so much) - I really hope the movie has more to offer than a half-assed backstory and soulless shootouts with boring aliens.
You can join Men In Black: International June 24, 2019.
